Backend Engineer & System Architect

You’ll be responsible for building scalable services that connect to on-prem systems (file shares, SQL, email), extract content, and process it through our chunking, tagging, and indexing pipelines.

You’ll help define how we securely interact with LLMs and manage user context, permissions, and data flow across the platform.

Skills we’re looking for:

Python with FastAPI, asyncio, and SQLAlchemy
PostgreSQL, using JSONB and vector extensions (pgvector)
LLMs for parsing and natural language queries — local or API-based
RAG orchestration using Haystack or LlamaIndex
Docker for containerised deployment
Secure file access via VPN, shared drives, or network mounts
Schema design, metadata tagging, and data validation pipelines
API-first mindset — modularity and integration are key
Audit Logging / Traceability

Full Stack Developer (Frontend-Focused)

You’ll build intuitive interfaces for tagging, searching, reporting, and admin — designed for everyday users, not technical teams.

You’ll also need to understand how the UI connects to complex backend logic such as project tracking, permissions, prompt engineering, and document state.

Skills we’re looking for:

Next.js with React and TypeScript
Tailwind CSS (or similar utility-first framework)
Experience bridging frontend UIs with backend APIs
Familiarity with prompt design and natural language interfaces
Comfortable building dynamic, responsive UIs (e.g. search, tagging, filters)
Understanding of data structures, schema design, and real-world UX for complex systems
Experience with auth, role-based access, and session handling is a bonus

(Advisor) Microsoft 365/Azure/Integrations

We’re looking for someone to guide the setup, authentication, and secure integration of Microsoft 365 services. Including Graph API access to Outlook, Teams, and Active Directory data.

This role best suited to someone with real-world experience configuring Microsoft environments and connecting them to internal apps.

Skills we're looking for:

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Graph API
Experience registering and securing Azure apps
Understanding of Microsoft 365 data architecture (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
Familiarity with OAuth2, scopes/permissions, and token handling
Comfortable advising on Active Directory, SAML/SSO, and enterprise-level authentication
Broader experience with Azure architecture, API management, or network infrastructure
